Steph and I picked up a new kitten today. We found the kitten on [washingtonpost.com]'s pet finder and met a middle-aged woman with a thick Eastern European accent in the middle of a Petsmart parking lot. She wouldn't give us her last name, her home phone, or her address. It really seemed like some sleazy drug deal or something, but in the end we paid her $75 and took home a healthy little kitten.
He was nine weeks old when we got him, and within a few days we named him Mercury. "Murky" for short. Opie has his own web pages (he insisted).
