Admiral Ormaund has arrived on his battleship, the HMS Firestorm, to take control of operations here.

Captain Thirbane pilots the destroyer Skyraid. He knows this area very well.

Duke Buiren Estali leads the defenses at Fort Dreiluthia. He knows his son is a traitor but he is in denial about it and is ignoring the problem.

Graf Junger Estali is Buiren's son. He is a traitor to Essonay. He sells secrets about the Essonay defenses and troop movements to Talazc. Junger is becoming richer and richer, claiming increasing profits from silver mines.

Grafin Thyneia Estali is Junger's sister. She knows nothing of Junger's duplicity and will defend him until clear proof is shown her. She is a staunch supporter of the kingdom, however, and once she believes her brother is a traitor, she will do all she can to bring him to justice.

Ritter Kinter Malsavilic is a knight who has had many run-ins with Junger in the past over women, battles, and so on. Their hate for each other is reknowned. Kinter is investigating Junger and will testify that Junger is a traitor, though he cannot prove it. He's a bit of an asshole but he is unswervingly loyal to the crown.

Ritter Grannik Porrain is a knight who is loyal to Junger. Grannik knows what is going on and will do anything he can to prevent people from finding out, including killing them if he can get away with it. He is seemingly kind, polite, and charming.
